Join the UKRI Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging team as they announce the winners of the Demonstrator and Business-led R&D competitions. You can now watch back the recording from the event here.

The Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging challenge is working to make plastic packaging fit for a sustainable future.

The event will provide the opportunity to hear about some of most ground-breaking plastics projects being funded across the UK that have the potential to alter our relationship with, and management of, plastic packaging and transform UK retail.

We will also be updating attendees on further exciting projects funded through SSPP’s core programme which will directly support new government policies to increase the recycling of plastic packaging waste.
