As part of our new “UKCPN in Conversation with…” series, we are delighted to bring you an informal chat between UKCPN Programme Lead, Sally Beken, and Paul Davidson (Challenge Director for the Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge at UKRI).

The UK Circular Plastics Network is delighted to launch its new “UKCPN in Conversation with…” video series. This will be a series of videos where members of the UKCPN team sit down for a quick 15 – 20 minute chat with an influential person within the plastics sphere.

For episode one, and as part of Recycle Week, we are bringing you a conversation between UKCPN’s Programme Lead, Sally Beken, and Paul Davidson, Challenge Director for the Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge at UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Here, they discuss everything from the Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge, to the hurdles that need to be overcome to drive sustainable change and a look at how our individual actions as citizens can make a huge difference in alleviating the plastics issue.

You can watch the video below:

Please let us know if there’s anything raised in the discussion that you’d like to ask the team about – you can do so by getting in touch directly with Sally Beken here.
