UKCPN led 20 participants on a tour of Veolia’s PRF & closed loop polymer facility.

On Thursday 21st March, the UK Circular Plastics Network led a tour of a Plastics Recycling Facility (PRF) and a closed loop polymer facility. This tour took place at Veolia’s Rainham and Dagenham sites.

The tour, limited to 20 participants and exclusively for members of UKCPN, was a success with particular benefit to those looking to utilise post-consumer waste plastics in their production processes. From the visit it’s evident that the Dagenham facility’s approach to HPDE and PET is of massive strategic importance to the UK going forward.

UKCPN programme lead, Dr. Sally Beken, would like to extend a huge thank you to Kathrin, Lorna and Richard at Veolia for making the day such a success.
